Pelipper
Pelipper's Drizzle starts rain the moment it comes in, and the whole team runs on it. In rain, Archaludon's Electro Shot fires in one turn instead of charging first, Water moves hit 50% harder and Fire moves 50% softer, Hurricane never misses, and Weather Ball turns into a 100-power Water move. Pelipper adds Wide Guard against your spread moves and Tailwind to double its side's Speed, and the usual team around it is Archaludon, Mega Golisopod, Sneasler, Mega Raichu X and a female Basculegion with Swift Swim.

Don't fight the rain on its terms: under rain Electro Shot fires every turn and the Water hits land 50% harder. Don't lean on spread moves while Pelipper can Wide Guard them, and don't count on Hurricane missing. Go after the weather: once the rain ends, Electro Shot needs its charge turn again and Swift Swim stops doubling Speed.
As Mega Raichu Y it outspeeds Pelipper, Archaludon and Mega Golisopod unless Tailwind is up. Zap Cannon never misses thanks to No Guard and is 4x effective on Pelipper, an easy OHKO; it is super-effective on the female Basculegion too. Focus Blast is super-effective on Archaludon and takes most of its HP.
As Mega Charizard Y, its Drought replaces the rain the turn it Mega Evolves, before anyone moves. In the sun, Electro Shot needs its charge turn again, Pelipper's Weather Ball turns Fire and does little to Charizard, and Charizard's own Weather Ball OHKOs Mega Golisopod and takes most of Archaludon's HP. It hits a single target, so Wide Guard can't block it. Pelipper switching back in brings the rain back, so press while the sun is up.
Torkoal is slower than Pelipper, so when both come in at the start of a battle its Drought goes last and the sun stays. Under sun, Pelipper's Weather Ball becomes a resisted Fire move instead of the rain-boosted Water hit that OHKOs Torkoal. Pelipper switching out and back in restarts the rain, so make the sun turns count.
Archaludon is on nearly every rain team, and it is the reason the rain matters: Electro Shot normally spends a turn charging, but in rain it fires the turn it's chosen and raises Archaludon's Special Attack every time. Every turn of rain you allow is another free Electro Shot.
Mega Raichu X brings Fake Out and sets Electric Terrain the turn it Mega Evolves, which pops Sneasler's Electric Seed and turns on Unburden. Expect a double-Speed Sneasler alongside the rain from the first turn.
