Who Moves First.

Speed creep is flatter in Champions — the 32-SP cap means almost everyone's running the same max investment. That makes base speed tiers the only thing that separates threats. Here's the board.

Quick answer

How do Pokemon Champions speed tiers work?

Speed tiers show the final Level 50 Speed stats that determine move order after 31 IVs, Stat Points, nature, and field modifiers like Tailwind. In Champions, the 32-SP per-stat cap makes base Speed and nature choices especially important.
  • 211 non-Mega roster entries charted
  • 32 Speed SP is max investment
  • Tailwind doubles final Speed
▸ How To Read This
  • Every number is Lv 50, 31 IV, 32 SP in Speed — the only way to hit the tier you see here is full Speed investment.
  • Speed ties are resolved randomly in-game. If you're at the same tier as a threat, plan like it's a coin flip.
  • Need a specific matchup, an ability like Swift Swim, or a Choice Scarf line? Use the Speed Tier Calculator — this page is the static reference.
Max Speed, Jolly / Timid
Top 25

32 SP into Speed with a + Speed nature — the unbuffed ceiling.

Max Speed, Neutral Nature
Top 25

32 SP, no nature boost. Where the Brave / Quiet / Relaxed crowd lands.

Under Tailwind (×2)
Top 25

Max-invested, + Speed nature, doubled. What a Tailwind-lead puts on the field.

◆ Target Benchmarks
Outspeed 135 base Speed: you need the Tailwind tier or a +1 Speed boost to beat the very top of the scale. Very little outruns it otherwise.
Outspeed 100 base Jolly: extremely common benchmark. A lot of the roster lives here, so landing just above it pays off constantly.
Creep the neutral-natured: Trick Room attackers often run 0 Speed SP to go last in TR. If you're building TR, flip your benchmark — you want the lowest speed, not the highest.
